BS6 BMW G 310 GS and G 310 R will be available with an EMI scheme

New Delhi : Remember the BS6 iterations of the BMW G 310 GS twins are due to be launched in India
pretty soon, yes Well, ahead of the upcoming launch, BMW Motorrad has announced a new payment
scheme for the BS6 BMW G 310 GS and BS6 BMW G 310 R: Under the purview of this offer,
interested folks will be able to buy the new BMW G 310 bikes for EMIs starting at as low as Rs.4,500.
This new offer by the German two-wheeler manufacturer is aimed to boost sales of the two bikes, which
became available for pre-orders last week.
In a statement to the press, BMW Motorrad India noted, “BMW India Financial Services has designed
customised and flexible financial solutions. The new BMW G310 R and BMW G310 GS can now be
pre-booked at an irresistible offer. Customers will be able to own their new bikes at EMIs starting at just
Rs. 4,500 per month.”
If you are wondering what that number is based on, especially considering that BS6 BMW G 310 GS
and G 310 R’s prices in India have not been announced yet, here’s some clarity. The company said this
figure is based on the calculations for a loan under the BMW Bullet Plan.
As noted above, the new BMW G 310 GS and BMW G 310 R’s bookings in India are now open. If
you are interested, head to either the company’s website or a BMW Motorrad dealership near you. And
when you do, don’t forget to take that token amount of Rs. 50,000. And now time for a little background
about the two: The BS6 BMW G 310 twins will both be propelled by a 312.2 cc liquid-cooled engine
that belts out 34 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque. The motor will be paired to a six-speed gearbox and is
also expected to get a slipper-clutch as standard.
Considering that BS4 model of the bikes retailed between Rs. 2.99 lakh – Rs. 3.49 lakh, we believe the
BS6 BMW G 310 bikes’ price in India will start at a little over Rs.3 lakh.
