Mumbai : ‘Ek Villian’ director Mohit Suri had earlier planned Aditya Roy Kapur and Tara Sutaria in his
upcoming film ‘Ek Villian 2’ but that plan didn’t go well. Now Ahmed Khan has locked Tara Sutaria
opposite Tara Sutaria for his upcoming action film titled ‘Om’.
This is the first time when Tara and Aditya will be sharing the screen space together. A media source
revealed that, “Tara has been approached for the Ahmed Khan film opposite Adi. She has liked the story
but she is yet to sign on the dotted line. It all depends on her schedule and the dates that Adi and Ahmed
decide to shoot the film on. The film is tentatively titled, Om. It’s a high octane actioner and will also have
Tara playing a pivotal action-oriented role.”
The film will be packed with action sequences in which Kapur will be seen playing the character of Om.
Aditya Roy Kapur has already started the preps for the film.`He is in talks for a couple of other films in
the action space, and there should be some clarity in the next couple of months. For Om, Adi has already
started to hit the gym and have a perfect physique in place”, said by a media source.
Tara has other films lined up which includes Milan Luthria’s ‘Tadap’, a remake of 2018 Teugu film RX
100. The film will be releasing in the year 2021.
